Description

The personal scrapbook of Jessica Dixon, a female vaudeville performer. She was also a soprano singer known as “The Overseas Girl” at the end of World War I as she entertained American troops in England, France, and post-war Germany. She later married Frank Freeman, another vaudeville performer, and they began touring together as Dixon & Freeman. The scrapbook includes letters, photographs, pamphlets, and other materials related to Jessica Dixon’s travels and vaudeville performances.
